Belco Electric was founded in 1972 by Lloyd Bird. Belco is a leading provider of comprehensive electrical services to residential and commercial customers throughout the greater Atlanta metro area. In the 1990s and 2000s, the Belco family grew with the addition of President Joey Heard in 1992 and Director of Service Operations Tim Jackson in 2000. Senior Project Manager Kenny Jackson joined the Belco family in 2002. The company continues to be family-owned and operated while adapting to the latest technological advances of the 21st century.
